This cocktail style ring is made with a rose carved from sacred cow bone. Shana purchased this rose carving in Bali in 2025. The carving is by Wayan Mardana ( and the tradition has been passed down in his family for many hundreds of years) . Cows are sacred in Balinese Hinduism. When the cow dies, she is buried for three years, then exhumed and her bones are cleaned and carved.
